01   What the AI does

Bottlenecks that eat your week, now Micca Music takes the first pass.

Independents hit the same brick walls: data entry, incompatible non-Roman characters, royalty tracking, and creative administration stranded on spreadsheets. Micca takes the first pass so your team spends time on judgment calls, not typing.

Data entry01

Contacts, agreements, song details. All by hand.

The pain

Every new deal triggers a wave of tedious manual entry. Logging contacts, processing agreements, and registering songs becomes an administrative bottleneck that eats into your margins and slows you down.

With Micca

Micca Music eliminates administrative friction. Our AI-powered system does most of the work for you.

Non-Roman characters02

Characters that break every tool.

The pain

Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic names and songs get mangled, or dropped. The credit goes unmatched. The money goes unpaid.

With Micca

Full support for non-Roman characters. 김민준, رشيد, 陳雅婷 stay themselves at Micca. Transliterations, translations, and variations are registered everywhere: Micca stores original characters to maintain relationships with western systems.

Royalty tracking03

Uploading statements isn’t always the problem.

The pain

Every system uploads and matches statements. No systems surface underpayments.

With Micca

AI helps identify omissions and errors in your royalties. Flags what’s missing, shows you the pattern, and gives you a starting point for claims.

Creative administration04

Sync briefs, licenses, and samples live in spreadsheets.

The pain

The brief, the license, the sample clearance, and the cue sheet all live in separate spreadsheets, isolated from the rest of the team. Creative administration works in a vacuum.

With Micca

A cross-functional creative administration process. Briefs, licenses, and derivative works connected to admin and royalties: cue sheets, PRO registration, split confirmation. Nothing gets left behind.

02   The product

No more silos. Connect your admin directly to your income.

Royalties connected to every module and reconciled in one view. Receivables, quarterly royalties, and expected revenue across all revenue streams and every deal from any module. Plus, analytics to give you the full picture

Publishing, recording, and creative administration by Micca:
all under one roof

Most tools pick a side. Distributors handle masters. Publishing admins handle publishing. Non-integrated sync administration. Your catalog doesn't live that way.

04   Built for

Built for the independent music community.

One platform, five kinds of operator. Publishers, labels, songwriters, producers, and managers each get a workspace tuned to how they actually run the business.

For independent publishers

Run the catalog, not the paperwork.

Writer deals, sub-publishing agreements, international collection, and non-Roman writer names, all in one system. Automation that doesn't ask you to give up ownership.

For independent labels

Masters, publishing, and creative administration in one place.

Neighboring rights, distribution metadata, publishing splits, sync briefs. A system that treats your label the way it actually runs, without four separate tools.

For songwriters

See what's registered, split, and paid.

Your works, your co-writers, your splits, and what actually came back last quarter. A clear view of the writing side of your career without a manager holding the spreadsheet.

For producers

Track masters, samples, and derivatives.

Master splits, sample clearances, and derivative-work registrations in one workspace. Get the credit, get the split, get paid.

For managers and music business

Manage several careers from one dashboard.

Client rosters, statement uploads, pitch pipelines, and quarterly royalty views across every artist you look after. The admin layer under the relationship work.

05   Why independent

Micca Music is built for the independent music community: publishers with hundreds of songs, labels with a few artists, catalogs run from a laptop instead of a corporate office tower.

You keep your rights. You keep your relationships. We just handle the administrative drift that costs you money and time every quarter.

Built to save you time

Co-Founder Carlos Escalona Cruz

Latin Grammy–winning producer, songwriter, and technologist with over two decades in the music industry. Has contributed to projects with Paulina Rubio, Marc Anthony, Danny Ocean, and Fito Páez, earning multiple Latin Grammy nominations and BMI’s Latin Music Award.

Former A&R Director for the U.S. Latin and LATAM division of Sentric Music, and a New York Chapter advisor for the Recording Academy. Those roles gave him firsthand insight into how rights, royalties, and creative careers actually function. That domain knowledge turns directly into product: as Micca Music’s technical lead, he architects and writes the platform, from data infrastructure to the AI-powered rights administration engine to the creator-facing dashboard.

An uncommon pairing of working producer and hands-on engineer, designing tools that solve real problems rather than theoretical ones.

08   Questions

The questions everyone asks.

01
How much does Micca Music cost?
Pricing depends on two things: your catalog size, and which capabilities you need. Capability tiers include metadata storage only, AI processing, advanced AI features, and performance-based recovery pricing on unclaimed royalties. Not all services are included in all tiers. For qualified accounts, we also offer full administration partnership where our team handles rights admin end-to-end; that’s a separate conversation reserved for the walkthrough. We quote on the call.
02
How is Micca Music different from other services and data platforms?
Traditional admin services take 15–50% of your royalties for the term of the contract, not forever, and typically only handle publishing. MICCA Music is AI-first software with three things nobody else combines: everything in one place (publishing, recording, and creative administration); AI that auto-populates metadata so your team stops typing the same fields twice; and cross-functional modules that connect the parts of the business that usually live in isolated spreadsheets. Sync briefs, sample clearances, administration, and analysis stop living in scattered files.
03
Do you handle both publishing and recording?
Yes. That's the point. One catalog, both revenue streams, in one workflow.
04
What if my catalog metadata is a mess?
That's the most common starting point. Onboarding surfaces and cleans metadata gaps before we push registrations. We do the work; you approve the fixes.
05
Which collection societies can MICCA integrate with?
Publishing PROs and MROs: ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, PRS, MCPS, GEMA, SACEM, SOCAN, SACM, the MLC, plus hundreds of international societies. Neighboring rights societies: SoundExchange, PPL, SENA. Full support for non-Roman characters so Korean, Arabic, Chinese, and Cyrillic writer names register correctly.
06
How long does onboarding take?
Most catalogs onboard in two to four weeks. Recovery claims can start filing in the first month, but payment realistically takes about six months minimum: the MLC typically reviews for one to three months and then takes another two to pay out, and they are among the fastest. Your status pipeline shows each claim as filed, processing, or expected payment so you know where every dollar sits. White-glove throughout.
